The kanaxai in high end
If that kanaxai is a real one, then if it goes up to 500 armbraces...which goes for about im 40e each...500x40=20,000 ectos, and a lot of people are trading zkeys for ectos on a 1:1 ratio so if he does get up to 500 armbraces, then he can be the first r12 zaishen...which everyone said is impossible to get.

Wouldn't it also make sense that the person buying it would have been able to get it as well?

Actually I think pets like that are really bait to catch dupers, I mean how do people accumulate thousands of ectos, hundreds armbraces etc...
There was someone in Doomlore selling 1,700 grogs, the drop rate for those would make it virtually impossible to get that many that quick. So it seems to me it is quite possible there are dup hacks and Anet is using rares to bring these dupers out in the open.

I don't think anyone ever said getting R12 is truly impossible, it's more like anyone who has the money isn't stupid enough to blow it all on that title.
20,000ecto is equal to 90,000,000 gold or in dollars about $9000.
Screw a fancy title & user agreement, I would cash in!! $_$

If there's a person selling 1,700 grogs, it most likely isn't a farmer, it's a trader. They buy cheap and sell higher in bulk. With every event you see such people. If there really are dupers, they wouldn't waste there time with bottles of grogs that go for 500g... They would be duping ecto's, braces, mini's and other real valuable stuff. Not to mention they probably would be the ones buying to show off fancy titles, not bothering with the troublesome act of selling them.

Just because somebody has XXX armbraces, doesnt mean they farmed them all. To compare a drop rate, to the amount of something somebody has is stupid. Power trading is the key way to make cash. There have been times where i have transformed 100k, into 100e by buying and selling on ups and down. Now lets say you got somebody already with a few thousand ecto, and they used that all as investment cash.
Essentially, the more cash you got, the more you can make. By buying and selling minipets such as Oni's, naga's, and yeti's, i have made several hundred thousand in profits each time. Now lets say, some guy who has the investement cash to buy higher end mini's like vizu's. The net profits off that would be huge, compared to smaller sales i've made.
To achieve high amounts of cash requires time, dedication to selling, a large investment fund, and a market for whatever you want to sell. It doesnen't matter if you got the rarest mini in the game, if you have nobody with enough cash to buy it! lol.

There are tons of ways to make money in this game.
All of them are time-intensive.
Some of them are capital-intensive. The capital-intensive ways dominate most of the merely time-intensive ways.
It's entirely possible to have farmed 1700 grogs since Thursday, even assuming that our seller didn't buy any of them.
It's entirely possible to have thousands of ecto/hundreds of armbraces without duping. All that is required is sufficient time investment in gaining capital and spending that time efficiently.
You don't have to spend thousands and thousands of hours trading/farming to get rich in GW. Time invested can only help, but the most important determinant of wealth in GW is how efficiently you use your time.
You can spend 4,000 hours in three years trying to get rich, but if you make 5k/hour and I make 40k/hour I will have the same 20 million gold as you in 500 hours.
This is the principle that most of the whiners about in-game wealth don't understand. They make 5-10k per hour at best, spend it as fast as they make it, and then wonder why they don't have any money.
Most of the people that I know that have a large number of ectos made most of that wealth in a very short period of time by legitimately abusing one or a few overpowered farms/trading opportunities.

if u played like 1 and a half years ago u would know. mainly pandas and island guardians would be at most 1-2 stacks and r7 15>50 wings and longs would be around 300-500k. it was a great time where anything was possible.

don't estimate farmers. 1,700 grogs is not that much. easily farmable.

The 1700 grogs isnt that uncommon at all really. I bought 2500 cupcakes a couple months back. These guys buy in bulk and sell at a fraction increase. i also bought 1 million in Zkeys a few months back and he had over 1000 left soooo im thinkin power trading + sellin for the guild for a commision. as for the rest i dont know really. i used to sell greens in bulk to a girl that sold them at discount. same deal there.
lol she would have 50-100 strongroots at a time. this was when factions was first released. shed by 10-15 at a time from me alone.

The Kanaxai in high end is probably fake. He's posting fake screenshots in the Riverside, too.
The post about him giving away free Ecto is actually a screenshot stolen from Draconis Blackbow.
Posting fake screenshots generally means selling fake items.
